Sharing the Gospel Among Illiterate People Groups

Tim Holcomb, founder of Background Mission Partners, spoke at a missions conference I attended last weekend. He spoke of sharing the Gospel with non-believers, and training pastors and new Christians among illiterate people groups.

He shares Bible stories, often times Gospel accounts of the life of Christ, but also passages and stories throughout the Bible. Then, he asks 5 basic questions for studying the Bible:
1. What did you like/what stood out to you?
2. What didn’t you like/what didn’t make sense to you?
3. What did you learn about God?
4. What did you learn about people?
5. If this is true, so what?
