What You Celebrate, You Become

Ed Stetzer has a great post on the state of the SBC.

In it, I was struck by this line, “what you celebrate, you become.”

No matter who you are, someone can learn a lot about you by what you spend your time, money, energy, thoughts, and conversations on. In discipleship, someone can tell a lot about what you’re passionate for by what you teach and what you expose others to. It’s challenging, but a great reflection question: “To someone observing my life, what does it seem like I’m passionate about?”
